Spring, the ideal season to discover Morbihan by bike

Spring is finally making its appearance, bringing with it the irresistible desire to escape into nature! During this season, Morbihan reveals all its beauty: mild temperatures, blooming landscapes, and longer days... The perfect opportunity to discover or rediscover the Rhuys Peninsula at its best.

With its wild coves, preserved marshes, and authentic small ports, Southern Morbihan is a true playground for outdoor enthusiasts. And what better way to explore its treasures at your own pace, between land and sea, than by bike?

🌿 Morbihan by bike, an adventure for everyone
With over 200 km of cycling routes, Morbihan is an ideal destination for cycling enthusiasts, whether you're looking for a leisurely ride or a sporting challenge. Here are some must-try routes:
  • The Littorale V45: an ideal route to discover or rediscover the Presqu'Île de Rhuys from a new perspective. This 25-kilometer section between Hézo and Port-Navalo, or 44 kilometers if you start from Vannes, takes you along the roads of the peninsula through a mosaic of landscapes.
  • The route to Port-Navalo: a gentle 10km stroll along the water leading to the tip of the peninsula. At the end, an exceptional panorama of the entrance to the Gulf of Morbihan, with the islands in the background.
  • The Pointe de Penvins: you can reach Pointe de Penvins via bike paths, either from Suscinio to the west or from Tour-du-Parc to the east. This small point extending into the ocean invites you to disconnect.
  • Tour of the Île aux Moines: accessible after a short boat trip from Port-Blanc, this escape allows you to explore this charming little island, known as the "pearl of the Gulf." With its flower-filled alleys, secret coves, and typically Breton landscapes, it’s a timeless retreat, perfect for a day of exploration by bike.
